Volunteer

The heart and soul of TLW are the volunteers.  The farms offer everyone a chance to give back to their community and make a difference. Thousands of volunteers serve at TLW each year. We gather committed citizens from community groups, churches, and corporations. People donate their time to work on our farm site as a commitment to the community and fresh, locally grown food. To learn more and volunteer click here.

Individuals and small groups make a tremendous impact on the farm. You are invited to sign up through our HandsOn Atlanta portal where you will find several ways to engage with us throughout the season. Designed for groups less than 10 people. Sign up here.

Volunteer groups work in teams to assist with basic farm chores, such as mulching pathways, turning and weeding garden beds, sifting soil and working the compost. At times, we offer multi-step projects, such as building a chicken coop or installing a garden bed.
